Viet Q. Truong holds licenses as a registered architect, a general contractor, and a real estate agent in California. He is an Architect member of the AIA, a LEED® AP, and carries NCARB certification. An alum of the University of Arizona’s NAAB-accredited Architecture program, after working with acclaimed firms in Arizona and the Bay Area – including Line and Space, Skurman Architects, Halperin & Christ, and Studio KDA – accumulating over two decades of experience in residential and commercial architecture, founded diagram architecture in 2018.
Guided by an innate passion for construction that runs in his family, Viet approaches his craft as not just an architect, but also as a builder at heart. His appreciation for the intricacies of construction serves as a cornerstone of his creative process, creating architecture firmly rooted in how things are built.
At diagram architecture, we believe our physical surroundings profoundly influence individual well-being and society at large. Rather than being hindered by constraints, we view them as catalysts that inform and enhance our projects resulting in designs that transcend the ordinary and exceed expectations. We love the complex urban fabric of the Bay Area and the diversity of cultures that shape our built environment; it serves as a constant source of inspiration for us. No matter how big or small, our projects strive to go beyond the commonplace, delight our senses, change perceptions, and create memorable spaces.
Outside of professional endeavors, Viet is a husband and a proud father of two girls. Their presence significantly grounds his commitment to creating an enduring impact on our community.
